Discover the aerospace technology used in implemar's Performance Aluminum Bars
01 de May de 2025
Implemar, a manufacturer specializing in booms for agricultural sprayers, has announced the pre-launch of the Performance Aluminum 30M boom, its first model with 100% in-house production. The product was developed based on aerospace technology studies and promises to deliver a robust solution for the agricultural sector.
But what is Aerospace Technology?
In aviation, aluminum extrusion is widely used for its ability to reduce weight without compromising structural strength, which results in greater efficiency and energy savings. By bringing this same logic to the field, we are able to develop lighter and more durable components, which provide less wear on components, a longer service life and reduced fuel consumption for self-propelled agricultural equipment.
Instead of traditional welding, our busbars use screw fastening at the ends of the boom — a modern solution, inspired by the aerospace industry, which ensures greater practicality, safety and durability. This technology offers several advantages: by eliminating welding, we avoid points of tension and fragility that can compromise the structure over time. With screw fastening, each component is assembled with precision and uniformity, facilitating both manufacturing and maintenance. In practice, this means that if it is necessary to replace any part of the boom, the process is simple, fast and does not require rework or cutting — without long downtime and without complications in the field. In addition, the use of screws allows for a modular structure, which better absorbs stresses and impacts during operation, increasing the useful life of the equipment.
It is aviation technology designed for the field, bringing more efficiency and reliability to your daily routine. By adopting this technology, we promote a paradigm shift in the construction of agricultural booms, replacing traditional solutions with a modern, efficient concept aligned with the innovations that drive cutting-edge sectors such as aerospace.
Aimed at farms, producers and resellers, the equipment will be compatible with different sprayers available on the market, as long as the coupling system is adjusted.
The launch does not yet have an official date for the start of sales, but interested parties can already sign up to receive first-hand information. To receive more information about the material, click here.

About Implemar
Operating in the market since 1998, Implemar is recognized for manufacturing parts and spray bars with a focus on technical quality. In 2024, the company incorporated robotic processes into the production line, mainly in welding, aiming for greater precision and agility.
The company is located in Maringá (PR) and sells its products throughout Brazil and Mercosur. With the launch of the Performance line, Implemar expands its operations, now also as a developer of technology applied to agricultural mechanization.
